The Council have received the remarks made at the Discussion of this Report on 19 October 2004 (Reporter, p. 126). In response to the remarks the Council note that the proposed Professorship is to be held concurrently with the Directorship of Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning. The Directorship is the substantive post and the person appointed to the post will receive the stipend attached to the Directorship. The Council are submitting a Grace for the approval of the recommendations in the General Board's Report (Grace 2, p. 151).
