Academic Fellowship in Climate Change in the Department of Earth Sciences

This appointment will in the broad area of 'climate change' and for the first five years will be in the form of one of the new Research Council Academic Fellowships, followed by a permanent University post (subject to the successful completion of a probationary period within the first five years).

The Department is interested in receiving applications from those whose research bears on any aspect of climate change relevant to the Earth Sciences. For further details please see http://www.esc.cam.ac.uk/ (Research and Teaching sections).

The post will involve research and teaching in the Department, and undertaking outreach to schools to inspire young people. The salary for this post will be between £21,640 and £35,883.

Administrative post in the Academic Division of the University Offices

Applications are invited for this temporary post in the Division's International Education Office, to take up appointment as soon as possible.

The post-holder will support two working parties on international policy by gathering and presenting information; and will undertake a major survey of the Colleges and of the University's Departments and Faculties to record existing international links systematically as an online database. The post has a limit of tenure of six months. The salary for this post is £22,508 to £32,666 pro rata.

Candidates should be graduates or equivalent, with relevant administrative experience in Higher Education. Candidates must be highly organized, and have the necessary interpersonal and communication skills.
