A memorial service will be held in Great St Mary's Church on Saturday, 27 November, at 2.30 p.m. for Alice Rosemary Murray, DBE, M.A., LL.D.(Hon), D.Phil., Oxford, JP; Lecturer in Chemistry, Girton College, 1946-54; University Demonstrator in Chemistry, 1947-52; Fellow of Girton College, 1949-54; Tutor-in-charge, New Hall, 1954-64; President of New Hall, 1964-81; Vice-Chancellor, 1975-77; Honorary Fellow of Girton and Robinson Colleges and of New Hall. Born on 28 July 1913. Died on 7 October 2004.
Guests are invited to join the Fellowship in New Hall for refreshments afterwards. Transport will be available.
