Historical Tripos, Part I, 2006: Notice

The Faculty Board of History give notice that the options for Paper 25 of Part I of the Historical Tripos, 2006 (Statutes and Ordinances, pp. 293-295) will be as follows:

(i) History by numbers: an introduction to quantitative methods in modern economic history
(ii) Italian identities and the art of self-fashioning: from the Renaissance to Risorgimento
(iii) France: the nation and its past: from the Trojans to De Gaulle
(iv) Civil rights in modern Germany
(v) Greek historiography from Herodutus to the fall of Constantinople
(vi) Latin biography and autobiography

Candidates for Part I in 2006 may meet the requirement to take a pre-1750 paper in Part II (Statutes and Ordinances, pp. 295-298) by offering options (ii), (v), and (vi).

Candidates for Part I in 2006 may meet the requirement to take a post-1750 paper in Part II by offering options (i) and (iv).

Candidates for Part I in 2006 may meet the requirement to take a European History paper in Part II by offering one of the following options: (ii), (iii), (iv), (v), (vi).
