Graces submitted to the Regent House on 6 May 2004

The Council submit the following Graces to the Regent House. These Graces, unless they are withdrawn or a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 115), will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 14 May 2004.

1. That the recommendations in paragraph 5 of the Report of the General Board, dated 11 February 2004, on the establishment of a Herchel Smith Professorship of Pure Mathematics (Reporter, p. 527) be approved.

2. That the recommendations in paragraph 6 of the Report of the General Board, dated 10 March 2004, on the establishment of a Herchel Smith Professorship of Molecular Genetics (Reporter, p. 560) be approved.1
