The following lectures will be open to members of the University and others who are interested:
Engineering. The fifth lecture in the second series of Distinguished Lectures in Sustainable Development will be given by Professor Mohan Munasinghe, Vice Chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, in the Lecture Theatre, Peterhouse, at 5.30 p.m. for 6 p.m. on 21 April. The title of the lecture is Understanding the linkages between climate change and sustainable development using the sustainomics framework.
Centre for Modern Hebrew Studies. On 22 April, Professor Raphael Loewe, of University College London, will give a lecture entitled Education, politics, and satire in Alfonso X's Castile: Ibn Sahula's Hebrew fables, at 5 p.m. in the Boys Smith Room, Fisher Building, St John's College.
