Graces submitted to the Regent House on 4 February 2004

The Council submit the following Graces to the Regent House. These Graces, unless they are withdrawn or a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 115), will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 13 February 2004.

1. That, on the nomination of the Council, Professor Arthur Alan Dashwood, of Sidney Sussex College, and Professor John Rason Spencer, of Selwyn College, be appointed Assessors to the Visitor of Clare College until the division of the Lent Term 2007.

2. That, with effect from 1 October 2004, Regulation 2 for the dates of examinations (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 213) be amended as follows:

By moving the entry for the Economics Tripos, Part IIB, from under the heading 'Wednesday before the last Sunday in May' to the heading 'Monday before the last Sunday in May'.

3. That the recommendation in paragraph 17 of the Second Report of the Council, dated 3 November 2003, on the development of the University's land in North West Cambridge (Reporter, p. 149) be approved.1

4. That the recommendations in paragraph 3 of the Report of the General Board, dated 3 December 2003, on the establishment of a Professorship of the Economics of Education (Reporter, p. 319) be approved.
