The procedure for senior academic promotions (paragraph 11.1) provides that applicants have the right to lodge an appeal against the decision of the General Board's Senior Academic Promotions Committee not to promote. Appeals must be made in writing to the Secretary of the Appeals Committee by the date specified in the timeable (now amended to Friday, 6 February 2004) and give clearly the reasons on which the appeal is grounded. The procedure for appeals is laid out in full in the guidance booklet.

Appeals, which should be marked 'Personal and Confidential', must be sent to Dr Hunt, at the Personnel Division, The Old Schools, Trinity Lane, Cambridge, CB2 1TT (tel. 01223 332268, e-mail mfh3@cam.ac.uk), so as to reach her no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, 6 February.
Notices by Faculty Boards, or other bodies concerned, of changes to the form and conduct of certain examinations to be held in 2003-04, by comparison with those examinations in 2003, are published below. Complete details of the form and conduct of all examinations are available from the Faculties or Departments concerned.
