The General Board give notice that, on the recommendation of the Faculty Board or other authority concerned, the regulations for certain University examinations have been amended as follows:
(Statutes and Ordinances, p. 360)
The requirement to take a written test in statistics as part of the examination in Genetics in Part II of the Natural Sciences Tripos is no longer necessary as this subject is covered in the Mathematics courses in Part IA and elsewhere. The assessment of further statistical skills has been incorporated into the existing Part II Genetics papers. The regulation has been amended to remove this requirement as follows:
Regulation 32.
By deleting the words ', and shall take a written test in statistics'.
