The Chairman of the Faculty Board of Biology gives notice that the Annual Meeting of the Faculty will be held at 4 p.m. on Monday, 24 November 2003, in Lecture Room 2, Austin Building, Department of Zoology, New Museums Site. The main business is to elect three members of the Faculty Board in class (c) (Statute C, IV, 2 (c)) in accordance with a procedure approved by the Faculty by which one of those elected is nominated by the Department of Physiology, one by the Department of Plant Sciences, and one by the Department of Zoology. The representatives will serve until 31 December 2007.
Nominations, for which the consent of the candidate must be obtained, signed by the proposer and seconder, together with notice of any other business, should be sent to the Secretary, Mrs Alice Benton, Old Press Site, Silver Street, Cambridge, CB3 9EW, to arrive not later than Friday, 31 October 2003. If there is a contested election the Single Transferable Vote Regulations will apply (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 124). Copies of the Agenda will be posted in Departments in the Faculty.
