The Managers of the Frederick Williamson Memorial Fund invite applications from suitably qualified persons, who need not be members of the University, for a one-year Fellowship and/or grants to finance advanced study or research relating to the peoples of Tibet, Bhutan, Sikkim, and neighbouring Himalayan areas, their society, religion, and material culture.
Detailed applications, specifying the candidate's qualifications and experience and giving the names and addresses of two referees, should be sent, by 30 November annually, to the Secretary of the Williamson Fund Managers (Professor D.W. Phillipson), Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, Downing Street, Cambridge, CB2 3DZ, from whom further particulars may be obtained.
