Plumian Professorship of Astronomy and Experimental Philosophy: Notice

The Board of Electors to the Plumian Professorship of Astronomy and Experimental Philosophy invite applications for this Professorship which will become vacant on 1 October 2004 on the retirement of Professor J. P. Ostriker. It is hoped that the successful candidate will take up appointment on 1 October 2004 or as soon as possible thereafter. The appointment will be subject to the Statutes and Ordinances of the University.
