As part of the ongoing re-structuring of the University's Central Administration, the Council, following consultation with the Vice-Chancellor elect, announce the early retirements of the Secretary General of the Faculties, Dr David Livesey, and the Treasurer, Mrs Joanna Womack, with effect from 30 September 2003. The Council wish to record their deep appreciation for the work which has been undertaken by Dr Livesey and Mrs Womack over many years in supporting the academic purposes of the University. The Council wish them well in their future activities. The Council expect shortly to publish further information about other consequential changes.
