Lauterpacht Research Centre for International Law. Mr Daniel Lincoln Bethlehem, CLH, appointed from 1 April 2003 for three years.
University Offices (Academic Division). Dr Elizabeth Haresnape, B.A., M.A., Ph.D., Leeds, appointed Administrative Officer, Grade I, from 16 June 2003 until the retiring age, with duties in the Faculty of History. Ms Angela Mary Jane Myers, B.A., Durham, appointed Administrative Officer, Grade I, from 1 June 2003 until the retiring age, with duties in the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages.
Computing Service. Mr Anton Ivanov Altaparmakov, B.A., CHR, appointed Computer Officer, Grade II, from 1 April 2003 until the retiring age.
Clinical Medicine. Dr Peter Robert Stewart Brinsden has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 June 2003 for a further two years. Dr Piers Emson has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 May 2003 for a further two years. Dr Andrew Kenneth Trull, B.Sc., Hull, Ph.D., London, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 March 2003 for two years.
Law. Professor Andrew Perry Simester, B.Com., LL.B., Auckland, D.Phil., Oxford, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2002 for one year.
