At a meeting held on 10 February 2003 in the Cockcroft Lecture Theatre, New Museums Site, Professor T. M. Cox, President, was in the Chair.
Professor Steven Ley, FRS, of the Department of Chemistry, delivered a lecture entitled Evolution or revolution: the challenge to today's synthesis chemist. A vote of thanks was moved by Professor Alan Cuthbert, FRS.
Twelve Research Studentships were awarded. Travel Grants amounting to £2,100 have been awarded to Fellows of the Society.
