The conference, which will take place between 7 and 9 September 2003, will consider the place of story and storytelling in the Jewish and Christian traditions, and its impact upon their encounter. Proposals are invited for papers on any aspect relating to tale or storytelling, stories, and storytellers in Jewish-Christian relations past or present.
The conference, which forms part of the Centre for Jewish-Christian Relations' fifth anniversary celebrations, will also include keynote talks, plenary panel discussions, and associated cultural events.

The deadline for proposals is 28 February 2003, and proposals for 20-minute papers should be no more than one page in length.
