The following election, appointments, grant of title, and reappointments have been made:
Professor B. M. Trost, B.A., Pennsylvania, Ph.D., Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Tamaki Professor of Humanities and Sciences, Stanford, elected Alexander Todd Visiting Professor of Chemistry from 6 October 2002 until 13 October 2002, assigned to the Department of Chemistry.
Chemical Engineering. Dr J. S. Dennis, M.A., Ph.D., SE, M.B.A., City University, London, appointed from 1 October 2002 for three years.
Engineering. Dr B. F. C. Laurent, Ph.D., CTH, Diploma in Engineering, ENSIC, Nancy, France, Diplomarbeit, Karlsruhe, Germany, appointed from 1 September 2002 for five years.
University Library. Ms R. M. Rowe, M.A., CTH, M.A., Loughborough, appointed from 1 July 2002 until the retiring age.
Research Services Division. Mrs M. Perry appointed Administrative Officer, Grade II, from 1 August 2002 for three years.
Physics. Mr R. K. Baldwin appointed from 1 July 2002 for five years.
Pharmacology. Mr A. Abbioui, B.Sc., King Hassan II University, appointed Computer Officer, Grade II, from 1 July 2002 until the retiring age.
Clinical Veterinary Medicine. Mr M. E. Herrtage, ED, appointed from 1 October 2002 for one year.
Clinical Veterinary Medicine. Professor W. F. Blakemore, W, appointed from 1 October 2002 for one year.
Clinical Medicine. Dr J. R. Ballinger, B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D., Toronto, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 September 2002 for two years.
Oncology. Dr A. Philpott, SE, reappointed from 1 January 2003 until the retiring age.
Continuing Education. Ms H. V. Clark reappointed from 16 August 2002 until the retiring age.
