The Vice-Chancellor gives notice that he has accepted with gratitude a bequest of approximately $1.6m under the Will of the late Mark Dementi Kaplanoff, M.A., Ph.D., University Lecturer in History and Fellow of Pembroke College. The bequest will be used to establish a fund, named the Kaplanoff Fund, for the purchase of materials for the University Library to support the study of American history.
The Council are submitting a Grace to the Regent House (Grace 2, p. 1276) for the approval of regulations to govern this Fund.
