The Vice-Chancellor gives notice that there will be a Civic Service in the University Church on Sunday, 2 June 2002, at 6.30 p.m. to mark the Golden Jubilee of the Accession of Her Majesty The Queen. All members and staff of the University are cordially invited to be present.
The Vice-Chancellor also gives notice, in accordance with Regulation 3 for Academical Dress (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 186), that this will be a 'scarlet' day, and he requests those qualified to wear their festal gowns at the Service.
