A meeting was held on Monday, 4 March, in the Cockcroft Lecture Theatre, New Museums Site. Professor T. M. Cox, President, was in the Chair.
Professor Simon Conway Morris, FRS, of the Department of Earth Sciences, delivered a lecture entitled Defusing the Cambrian explosion? A vote of thanks was moved by Dr J. Clack.
Travel Grants amounting to £1,400 have been awarded to Fellows of the Society.
