Homerton College

MASTER OF STUDIES ADMINISTRATOR

A senior administrator is required to ensure the smooth operation of the Master of Studies programme as a new strand is introduced to the course. The appointment is subject to the M.St. in Public Health being approved by Cambridge University. If granted, this process of expansion will see the number of students double over the next two years, with the first group of new students starting in September 2002. This post carries a high degree of responsibility, as the successful applicant will need to organize the new course whilst ensuring the smooth running of the existing programme. The salary will be from £22,424 to £23,759 a year, for a thirty-seven hour working week.

The Administrator will be based at Victoria House in Fulbourn and will be accountable to the Academic Directors. The post-holder will need to ensure that standard procedures are applied consistently across both programmes and, in this development phase, the Administrator will have secretarial support with related line management responsibilities.

For an application pack and further details on the post please contact Deborah Newbatt (tel. 01733 874780, e-mail newbatt@health-homerton.ac.uk). Applications must be received by 12 p.m. on Thursday, 28 February 2002. Interviews will be held on 20 March 2002.

Homerton College is an equal opportunities employer.
