On 5 February, a talk was given to the Scientific Society by Dr Hans Kraus, of the University of Oxford, on Cryogenics and the detection of dark matter. A motion of thanks was passed by the Committee. On 12 February, the Scientific Society will hold a Formal Hall at Queens' College. Tickets are available at a cost of £5 for Members or £8 otherwise, and cheques, made payable to the Cambridge University Scientific Society, should be sent to T. A. Oliver at Queens' College.
