Social and Political Sciences Tripos, Part IIB, 2002: Notice

The General Board give notice that, on the recommendation of the Faculty Board of Social and Political Sciences, and notwithstanding the provisions of Regulation 19 for the Social and Political Sciences Tripos, they have agreed to permit Mr O. Stern-Weiner, of King's College, to offer the following combination of papers in Part IIB of that Tripos in 2002: Soc. 3, Pol. 4, Pol. 8, and a dissertation. Mr Stern-Weiner was wrongly advised that this combination of papers was possible and he has been preparing to offer it in the examination this year. The General Board have received a plea of incuria from his Tutor.

The Faculty Board of Social and Political Sciences give notice that, as a result of recent changes in the Archaeological and Anthropological Tripos (see Reporter, 2000-01, p. 844), for the examination in 2002 the subject Nationalism, race, and ethnicity specified for Paper Pol. 12 (A special subject in Social Anthropology) in Regulation 14 of the Social and Political Sciences Tripos (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 387) will be Paper S9 of Part II of the Archaeological and Anthropological Tripos and not Paper S10.
