REGULATIONS FOR EXAMINATIONS: NOTICE BY THE GENERAL BOARD


The General Board give notice that on the recommendation of the Faculty Board or other authority concerned, the regulations for certain University examinations have been amended as follows:

Examination in American Literature for the M.Phil. Degree

(Statutes and Ordinances, p. 459)

With effect from 1 October 2001

Regulation 1.1

By replacing in sub-paragraph (c) the number '4,000' by '3,000', and by amending sub-paragraph (d) so as to read:

(d) a thesis of not less than 10,000 words and not more than 15,000 words in length (including footnotes and appendices, but excluding bibliography), on a subject approved by the Degree Committee.
