British Heart Foundation Scheme for Personal Professorships

School of Clinical Medicine (Department of Surgery)

The University is seeking a candidate around whom to make an application to the British Heart Foundation in their scheme for Personal Professorships. The applicant selected by the University and forwarded to the BHF will be working in the field of Cardiac Surgery and, if successful in the BHF scheme, will hold a clinical Professorship in the Department of Surgery with a research base at Addenbrooke's Hospital and clinical sessions at Papworth Hospital. Candidates will have an appropriate record of academic achievement, which will also satisfy the BHF's requirements for professorial support.
