The Fellows of Peterhouse will soon be proceeding to the election of a Master (or Keeper) in succession to Sir John Meurig Thomas, who is due to retire on 25 June 2002. Any person who wishes to be considered for this position, or who would like to suggest the name of someone else who might be considered, is invited to write in confidence to the Senior Fellow (Professor C. R. Calladine), Peterhouse, Cambridge, CB2 1RD, preferably by 31 August 2001. The College's choice will not necessarily be limited to those whose names come forward in this way.
