Congregation of the Regent House on Friday, 15 June 2001: Notice

The Vice-Chancellor gives notice that he has designated Friday, 15 June 2001 as an occasion on which festal gowns are to be worn, and in accordance with Regulation 3 for Academical Dress (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 185), he requests Doctors in the several Faculties to wear their appropriate academical dress in public on that day. Other members of the University are also requested to wear their academical dress. He further asks that, on 15 June, the University flag be flown from University buildings having flagpoles.

Members of the University are reminded that on 15 June any member who holds a degree of a university or degree-awarding institution may wear the academical dress appropriate to that degree, other than those officers specified in Regulation 4 for Academical Dress.
