Graces submitted to the Regent House on 6 June 2001

The Council submit the following Graces to the Regent House. These Graces, other than any which is withdrawn or for which a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 113), will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 15 June 2001.

1. That the recommendations contained in paragraph 11 of the Report of the Faculty Board of Music, dated 8 March 2001, on amendments to the regulations for the Music Tripos (p. 705) be approved.

2. That, on the recommendation of the Library Syndicate, the Librarian be allowed to lend the following items:

(i) to the Spertus Institute of Jewish Studies, Chicago, seventeen Taylor-Schechter fragments divided into three groups for separate display periods between 21 October 2001 and 31 August 2002;
(ii) to the Plantin-Moretus Museum, Antwerp, manuscript Gg.5.14 for the exhibition 'Levant, Arab Culture and Ottoman Power in Antwerp's Golden Age' from 1 December 2001 to 3 March 2002;
(iii) to the National Library of Australia, Canberra, for the exhibition 'Treasures from the World's Great Libraries', from 7 December 2001 to 24 February 2002, the Darwin manuscripts DAR.114.3 ff 1-3, DAR.185 : 108 ff 208, 209, and 210, DAR.185 : 110 : p3.
