Magdalene College

DOMUS BURSAR AND CONFERENCE DIRECTOR

Applications are invited for the office of Domus Bursar and Conference Director from 1 December 2001. The person appointed will be elected into an Official Fellowship with appropriate allowances and privileges, a pensionable stipend of £33,058 a year (reviewed each year in line with University stipends), and membership of the Universities Superannuation Scheme. Rentable living accommodation may be offered at the discretion of the Governing Body. The duties of the Domus Bursar and Conference Director will include special responsibility for promoting and managing the College's conference business; employment of the College's assistant staff; care of the College buildings; the allocation of rooms to students; the College's catering operations; and such other duties relating to the domestic life of the College as the Governing Body may from time to time determine. The Domus Bursar will also act as Secretary to the College's Finance and General Purposes Committee.
