Hertford College

TUTORIAL FELLOWSHIP IN PHILOSOPHY

In association with Oriel College

Applications are invited for an Official Fellowship and Tutorship in Philosophy, with effect from 1 October 2001 or as soon as possible thereafter. The College appointment is tenable in conjunction with a University Lecturership (CUF). The successful applicant will be offered a Tutorial Fellowship at Hertford College and a College Lecturership at Oriel College. He or she will be required to teach tutorials for the two Colleges, to lecture and to supervise graduate students for the Faculty of Literae Humaniores, and to undertake research. The University has particular needs in Moral Philosophy and the History of Early Modern Philosophy, but specialists in any area of Philosophy are encouraged to apply.
