DR ILYA GERSHEVITCH, Emeritus Reader in Iranian Studies, Emeritus Fellow of Jesus College, died on Wednesday, 11 April 2001, aged 86 years.
The funeral took place privately. Details of the Memorial Service to be held in the College Chapel will be announced in due course.
