Announcement of lectures and seminars

The following lectures and seminars will be open to members of the University and others who are interested:

Institute of Astronomy. Colloquia will be held at 4.30 p.m. on Thursdays in the Raymond and Beverly Sackler Lecture Theatre, Madingley Road. They will be preceded by tea at 4 p.m. in the Hoyle Building.

19 April Solar neutrinos: where we are, where we are going?, by Professor John Bahcall, of the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton.
26 April New structures in spiral galaxies: predictions and discoveries, by Professor Alexei Fridman, of the Institute of Astronomy, Russian Academy of Sciences.

Criminology. A lecture, entitled Psychological consequences of wrongful imprisonment, will be given by Dr Adrian Grounds, of the Institute of Criminology, at 5.30 p.m. on Thursday, 26 April, in Room B.16, Faculty of Law, West Road.
