A joint meeting of the Society with the Cambridge Local History Society will be held at 2.15 p.m. on Saturday, 3 February, in St John's Community Hall, Hills Road, when Dr Elizabeth Leedham-Green will give a paper, entitled How not to be a vice-chancellor: William Frere, 1819-20.
Members of the Society are welcome to bring guests, and junior members of the University are welcome at all lecture meetings.
