Examination in Development Studies for the M.Phil. Degree, 2001: Amendment

The Development Studies Committee give notice that the form of examination for Subject 10, Quantitative methods in economics and finance (Subject 301 from the examination in Finance), published on 12 July 2000 (Reporter, 1999-2000, p. 931), should be as follows. The Committee are satisfied that no candidate's preparation for the examination is adversely affected by this change.

Subject 10 Quantitative methods in economics and finance

One three-hour written paper, a project, a computer exercise, and a two-hour written paper mid-course (not compulsory but can count for 25 per cent of the paper mark).
