Office of High Steward: Nomination

4 December 2000

The Nomination Board give notice that they nominate for the office of High Steward Dame Bridget Ogilvie, G, and they certify that she has given her consent in writing to such nomination.

Under Regulation 5 of the regulations governing the nomination and election (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 111), any other candidate will be eligible if papers nominating him or her and signed by not less than fifty members of the Senate, together with his or her consent in writing to such nomination, have been received by the Vice-Chancellor on or before Friday, 19 January 2001. Such papers should be sent to the Vice-Chancellor at The Old Schools, Cambridge, CB2 1TN.
