(Statutes and Ordinances, p. 344)
The purpose of this amendment is to bring forward the deadline for the submission of the Ethnomusicology transcriptions by one week in order that second year students do not have to submit their transcriptions and their tonal portfolios on the same day. The Faculty Board of Music is satisfied that no candidate's preparation will be adversely affected by this amendment.
By amending the final paragraph of the descriptive text so as to read:
The transcription and the essay shall be submitted to the Chairman of Examiners, together with an audio cassette recording of the music transcribed, not later than the eighth day of the Full Easter Term in which the examination is to be held.
