Economics Tripos, Preliminary Examination for Part II, 2001

The Faculty Board of Economics and Politics give notice that, with effect from the examinations to be held in 2001, the form of the examination for the Preliminary Examination to Part II of the Economics Tripos will be changed as follows:

Paper 4. Sociology

Candidates will be required to answer three questions.

Paper 5. Theory and practice of econometrics I

This paper will be divided into two Sections, A and B. Candidates will be required to answer four out of seven questions in Section A, and two out of three questions in Section B. Each section will carry 50 per cent of the marks for the paper.
