Trinity Hall

DEAN

The College proposes to appoint a Dean, to take office on 1 October 2001 or as soon as possible thereafter. The person appointed will become a Fellow of the College and thereby a member of its Governing Body.

The successful applicant, who may be a man or a woman, will have an outstanding academic profile and the ability to undertake some undergraduate or graduate teaching, preferably in Theology. The College will not necessarily restrict its choice to a graduate in priest's orders of the Church of England. The Dean will, however, be required to undertake pastoral work among all members of the College and to be responsible for the conduct of worship in the College Chapel.

Further particulars may be obtained from the Master, Trinity Hall, Cambridge, CB2 1TJ, to whom applications should be sent, with an accompanying curriculum vitae and the names of two persons from whom references may be sought, not later than 1 December 2000.
