Report of the General Board on the re-establishment of the Beckwith Professorship of Management Studies: Notice

30 October 2000

The Council have considered the remarks made at the Discussion of this Report on 10 October 2000. Dr Evans wished to know whether the funding for the Professorship would come from the original benefaction and whether recruitment incentives and supplementary payments were paid from this or from University funds. The General Board have confirmed that the fund has grown sufficiently to support the permanent endowment of the Professorship. As is the case for all Professorships, recruitment incentives and supplementary payments are made from University funds.

The Council are submitting a Grace to the Regent House (Grace 1, p. 144) for the approval of the recommendations of the Report.
