The Arthritis Research Campaign (ARC) wish to award a number of prestigious Ph.D. Studentships in 2001 to encourage outstanding young science graduates to enter a research career in rheumatology.

Studentships will be awarded to university departments by open competition and will be tenable for three years starting in October 2001. University departments are invited to submit proposals for research projects that have clear relevance to the aims of the ARC and which will provide a broad research training in a multidisciplinary environment.
