Professorship of Statistical Science: Notice

Applications are invited for the Professorship of Statistical Science, which is based in the Statistical Laboratory, to take up appointment as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be a scientist with a distinguished research record in an area of statistics or stochastics; fields of interest to the University include, but are not restricted to, statistical science (theoretical and applied) and the applications of statistical and probabilistic methods to cognate fields including biology, genetics, economics, and mathematical finance. The appointment will be subject to the Statutes and Ordinances of the University.
