The Leverhulme Trust

LEVERHULME EMERITUS FELLOWSHIPS (REF. F6)

The Leverhulme Trust invites applications from recently retired scholars to complete and prepare for publication the results of research already begun. Applicants should have retired during the last three years or must have retired by the time of commencing the Fellowship. Applications will be considered in all subject areas. Approximately thirty Fellowships are offered annually. The closing date for applications is 4 p.m. on Monday, 27 November 2000. Applications must be sent to the Research Grants and Contracts Section of the University for approval, together with a completed RSD-1A form before they are sent to the Leverhulme Trust. STUDY ABROAD STUDENTSHIPS (REF. SAS2)

The Leverhulme Trust invites applications from holders of a first degree from a UK higher education institution (or equivalent) for Study Abroad Studentships, tenable for twelve or twenty-four months at any centre of learning in the world, except the UK and USA. Applications will be considered in all subject areas but the awards are not intended for those who wish only to improve their knowledge of modern languages. Approximately twenty-five Studentships are offered annually. The closing date for applications is 4 p.m. on Monday, 8 January 2001. Application details not available after 29 December 2000.

The RSD-1A form can be obtained from the Research Grants and Contracts Section's website (http://www.admin.cam.ac.uk/offices/rg-cs/). Please note that the Research Grants and Contracts Section requires three working days to process grant applications.
