ASSISTANT DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

Peterhouse, Cambridge, seeks to recruit an Assistant Development Director in its recently established Development Office, which will be responsible for the whole range of the College's fundraising and externally-oriented relationships with College members and others.

The Assistant Development Director will assist the Development Director in the whole range of his responsibilities, including the management of a computerized database system of members of the College, and acting as a first point of contact with College members and others. Essential requirements include a high level of administrative and executive skills, including database management, word processing, and allied keyboard and secretarial abilities; excellent personal presentation; a helpful telephone manner; the ability to work under pressure; flexibility of approach and diplomacy. Direct supervision of one permanent staff member and occasional temporary staff will be required. This is a full-time post. The salary will not be less than £19,200 a year.
