Appointments and reappointments

The following appointments and reappointments have been made:

Appointments

The General Board have appointed Sir John Kingman, M.A., Sc.D., PEM, FRS, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Bristol, to the N.M. Rothschild & Sons Professorship of Mathematical Sciences and also as the Director of the Isaac Newton Institute of Mathematical Sciences with effect from 1 October 2001.

Clinical Lecturer

Medicine. Mr P. D. Flynn, M.A., M.B., B.Chir., T, MRCP, MRCPI, appointed from 1 May 2000 for four years.

University Lecturer

Medicine. Mr N. W. Morrell, B.Sc., M.B., B.S., M.D., Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, MRCP, appointed from 1 April 2000 for five years.

Computer Officer

Physiology. Mr T. R. Carter, B.Eng., Anglia Polytechnic, M.A., appointed Computer Officer, Grade II, from 1 January 2000 for five years.

Assistant Library Officer

University Library. Ms S. Morcillo-Garcia, B.A., Central University of Barcelona, appointed from 1 July 2000 for five years.
