VISITING ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR/LECTURER

The Research Centre for Higher Education, Kyushu University, Japan, is seeking to appoint a visiting Associate Professor or Lecturer in the areas of TEFL/TESOL, communication, inter-cultural studies, or other related areas. The main responsibility will be the teaching of English language to undergraduates. The post is for three years (non-renewable) from October 2000, or as soon as possible thereafter. A Ph.D. Degree is preferable, together with substantial teaching experience and relevant publications. However, an experienced teacher with an M.A. Degree would also be considered. The salary and benefits will be based on the Japanese Ministry of Education scale, and will be commensurate with age and experience.
