Beckwith Professorship of Management Studies: Notice

The University hopes soon to be in a position to elect a Beckwith Professor of Management Studies. The Professorship is open to candidates in the fields of marketing, broadly defined to include elements of business strategy. It is hoped the successful candidate will take up appointment on 1 January 2001 or as soon as possible thereafter. The appointment will be subject to the Statutes and Ordinances of the University.

Further information may be obtained from the Acting Secretary General of the Faculties, General Board Division, University Offices, The Old Schools, Cambridge, CB2 1TT, to whom a letter of application, marked 'Confidential', including details of current and future research plans, a curriculum vitae, and a publications list should be sent, together with the names of two referees, so as to reach him not later than Friday, 1 September 2000.
