Economics Tripos, Part II

The regulations and supplementary regulations for Part II of the Economics Tripos (Statutes and Ordinances, pp. 260 and 262) have been amended as set out below. The purpose of these amendments is (a) to continue until further notice the suspension of Papers 13 and 16 of Part II, for which the Faculty Board of Economics and Politics are not at present able to provide teaching, and (b) to amend the titles of and supplementary regulations for Papers 13 and 16 so that the Faculty Board may change the content of these papers according to the teaching available in the Faculty. The opportunity has also been taken to rescind proviso (1) of Regulation 16, which is no longer required. The regulations have been amended, with effect from 1 October 2000, as follows:

Regulation 15.

By amending the titles of Papers 13 and 16 so as to read:
Paper 13. A subject in economics
Paper 16. A subject in economics

By amending the footnote attached to Papers 13 and 16 so as to read:
This paper will not be set until further notice.

Regulation 16.

By deleting proviso (1) and renumbering provisos (2) and (3) accordingly.

The supplementary regulations for Papers 13 and 16 of Part II of the Economics Tripos have been amended, with effect from the same date, so as to read as follows:

Paper 13. A subject in economics

This paper will not be set until further notice.

Paper 16. A subject in economics

This paper will not be set until further notice.

The regulations for Part II of the Economics Tripos have been further amended, with effect from 1 October 2001, as follows:

Regulation 15.

By appending the following footnote to Paper 17:

This paper will not be available in the examination to be held in 2002.
