Professorship of Applied Mathematics: Notice

The Board of Electors to the Professorship of Applied Mathematics invite applications for this Professorship, to take up appointment as soon as possible. Applications are invited from mathematicians dedicated to developing new techniques and applying them to important areas of science or engineering. The appointment will be subject to the Statutes and Ordinances of the University.

Further information may be obtained from the Acting Secretary General of the Faculties, University Offices, The Old Schools, Cambridge, CB2 1TT, to whom a letter of application, including details of current and future research plans, a curriculum vitae, and a publications list should be sent, together with the names of two referees, so as to reach him not later than Friday, 18 August 2000.
