Through the Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students (FCS), the Swiss Government offers a certain number of Scholarships to foreign postgraduate students wishing to study at a Swiss university. They are intended to enable recipients to either further their education in Switzerland or to undertake research work in the fields in which the Swiss universities are particularly active. The closing date is 1 December 2000.
