Report of the Council on the construction of a new research facility for the Departments of Experimental Psychology and Anatomy: Notice

12 June 2000

The Council have received the remarks made by Dr Evans at the Discussion of this Report on 30 May 2000 (see p. 764).

Dr Evans questions whether this new research facility will be shared by commercial or industrial concerns. The facility in question is the result of a successful application to the Wellcome Trust for JIF-funding on behalf of the Departments of Experimental Psychology and Anatomy. No external commercial or industrial concerns were involved.

The Council have replied to Dr Evans's comments on delegating authority and on accountability on a previous occasion (p. 392) and have no more to add at this time. They are submitting a Grace to the Regent House (Grace 12, p. 837) for the approval of the recommendations in this Report.
